Winning the « Best band of the year » award at the Trophées des arts Afro-caribéens 2008 in Paris, the band signed on Sakifo records, gained a respected live reputation around the globe, in France (Fiesta des suds), in Australia, in Japan where the first album has been released.
To produce the second album In colors TOGUNA has been surrounded by amazing musicians ; recorded in London in june 2010 with Soul Sewell on bass and Richie Stevens on drums (Keziah Jones, Joss Stone, Gorillaz, Patrice), with great guests such as the australian’s singer from Blue king brown, mixed by Ricky Ojijo (Ayo , Nneka) at Patrice’s studio in Germany and mastered by Tony Dawsey (Jay-Z) in New york.
This upcoming album will release on November 2011.
